SEO questions, answered
How long does SEO take?
SEO is a long-term process rather than an instant advertising channel. The work starts immediately, but the time needed to see meaningful movement varies based on your website, market, competitors and starting position.
We will establish a baseline, monitor the available data and explain progress clearly. We do not guarantee a particular position in Google.
Which SEO package do I need?
Essential is suitable for smaller local businesses that want steady improvement.
Advanced is our recommended option for businesses actively trying to increase visibility and enquiries.
Complete is intended for more competitive sectors, larger websites or campaigns that require deeper optimisation and regular written content.
Is there a minimum term?
We recommend an initial six-month term, billed monthly in advance. The service can then continue as a rolling monthly agreement with 30 days’ notice.
Is content writing included?
One written article per month is included with Complete SEO.
Advanced SEO includes a monthly content brief, with article writing available as an optional add-on. Additional articles, guides and landing pages can be quoted separately.
Do unused page allowances roll over?
No. Page allowances represent the maximum amount of optimisation available within each month.
We will only change a page where there is a useful reason to do so. Unused allowances do not roll over. Major redevelopment, extensive copywriting and new website functionality are outside the SEO package scope.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No responsible SEO provider can guarantee a particular organic position.
We focus on improving the quality, relevance and technical health of your search presence. Our reports explain the work completed, available trends and the priorities for the next period.
Is website maintenance included?
Website hosting, software updates, backups and general website support are not included within the SEO packages.
These services are available separately through our Website Care Plans.
Can you work on a website you did not build?
Yes, subject to an initial review of the website and the access available.
If the website has significant technical problems or restrictions, we will explain these before recommending ongoing SEO work.
